To stir dormant fires
liturgical and didactic
the spell of the past
of bygone centuries
forlorn are those whose trepidation swells
long gone are those less versed in diffidence
indolent are we with glazed eyes askew
endless doth time bring entropy a new
oh the dreadful pathos the surging choking presage
the un bridled malice the bellicose ferocity
banal is the soil, yet it shall be our keeper
when our baleful unrest returns to the ether
advantageous is beyond anomalous and shifting
over indiscrete horizons unscathed by the dirges
lament not for us, lest it be for yourself
ardent cries and wails, shall fall upon deaf ears
no promise beyond that of a quiet grave
beyond somnolent desolate
no promise beyond that of a quiet grave
beyond somnolent desolate
beyond somnolent desolate
oh the dreadful pathos the surging choking presage
the un bridled malice the bellicose ferocity
banal is the soil, yet it shall be our keeper
when our baleful unrest returns to the ether
advantageous is beyond anomalous and shifting
over indiscrete horizons unscathed by the dirges
lament not for us, lest it be for yourself
ardent cries and wails, shall fall upon deaf ears
lament not for us, lest it be for yourself
ardent cries and wails, shall fall upon deaf ears
Most of the riffs and beats are garden-variety and started to blur together during an extended listen.
But the last track "Vacant Soul Invasion" serves up a buffet of riffs that had me wondering why the entire thing wasn't like this.
These guys could be on to something in the future. blaggaa
